Please feel free to contact us. Very often our members will be interested in auditioning for other theatre and film based shows. Whether it be a Hollywood production or a student film, a West End theatre show or a small piece of amateur street theatre, it is very possible that our members will be interested.
Our members are aged from 16 to 80, male and female, all based in Torbay; Devon.
Student, amateur and professional castings are welcome.
Just a few things to note, please.
- Even if the role offered is not "paid", please make sure that you will cover the performers expenses if you take them on for a production. This means food, travel, costume, and B&B accomodation as relevent. Please confirm these terms when you contact us.
- Details of auditions are also welcome. Please state clearly whether you will be holding auditions or directly casting from photos. Our members will not take kindly to being misled.
- We will not pass on auditions or castings for "adult/ pornographic" projects to our members.
- We will not pass on details of castings or opportunities which require applicants to pay a fee to become involved.
So when you contact us with details of an audition, please include the following information:
- Who you and your group/company are, and a website if possible.
- What payments or expenses are offered
- A few details about the roles you are casting, and if the applicants will need to attend an audition, or if you are casting directly from photographs, etc.
- When and where performances will take place
- if the actors need to bring any especial costume, props, or equipment.
What happens then
Within 48 hours, the details will be passed on to our members, and it will then be up to anyone interested and eligible, to contact you.
